Final conference of the “Energy and Climate Change” program

The final conference of the "Energy and Climate Change" programme, organised by the programme manager (Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds), the programme partner (Energy Institute "Hrvoje Požar") and the donor partner of the programme (Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate) with the support of the donor countries Iceland, Liechtenstein and the Kingdom of Norway through the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area (EEA), took place in Rovinj on 12-13 November 2024.

The final conference of the “Energy and Climate Change” programme, organised by the programme manager (Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds), the programme partner (Energy Institute “Hrvoje Požar”) and the donor partner of the programme (Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate) with the support of the donor countries Iceland, Liechtenstein and the Kingdom of Norway through the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area (EEA), took place in Rovinj on 12-13 November 2024.

At the conference, 38 projects worth 20 million euros were presented, which will be implemented as part of the programme. The main objective is to increase energy efficiency and the share of renewable energy sources, including geothermal, marine and solar energy.

All legal entities, public or private, commercial or non-commercial organisations and non-governmental organisations established as legal entities in the Republic of Croatia are eligible to apply. In addition to Croatian organisations, project partners can also be legal entities based in donor countries (Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein).
