10. World Water Forum

The Government of the Republic of Indonesia, in cooperation with the World Water Council, organised the 10th World Water Forum from 18 to 25 May 2024 in Bali, Indonesia. As part of the forum, a ministerial meeting was held at which the ministerial declaration “Water for Shared Prosperity” was adopted. The declaration emphasises the importance of tackling water-related challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss and pollution and outlines measures to protect water resources and their sustainable management, strengthen access to clean water, promote transboundary cooperation and foster education, research and innovation in the water sector.
The Croatian delegation was led by MS Nebojša Koharović, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia to the Republic of Indonesia. The members of the delegation included representatives of Hrvatske vode (Croatian Waters) – Deputy Director General Davor Vukmirić and the Head of the Development and Water Management Planning Sector, Dr Danko Biondić, as well as a representative of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer Water Institute, Dr Tanja Šikić, Head of the Monitoring Sector.< For further information: https://worldwaterforum.org/
