On the occasion of the press conference for the Koprivnica agglomeration project, the director of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer Water Institute visited the wastewater treatment plant in Koprivnica. In his speech, he emphasised how the Koprivničke vode are successfully contributing to the achievement of several important goals through the completion of the agglomeration project. These include raising municipal standards for citizens by achieving a high percentage of the population connected to the public water supply and sewage system (85% and 87% respectively) and meeting modern environmental standards, including by equipping a modern laboratory to monitor water quality. He particularly praised the management of water losses in the water supply system, which are at a low 13%.
