The Minister of Environment and Green Transition participated in the ceremonial session of Karlovac County and in the event marking the beginning of construction works on the flood protection project on the Kupa River in Karlovac. This important infrastructure project contributes to the safety of the local population and to the long-term management of water resources.

Significant investments in infrastructure development, environmental protection, and circular economy projects within the county were also highlighted. Particular emphasis was placed on the need for an integrated approach to development and strengthening resilience to climate-related challenges.
